Sorry for the Hiatus.

Hi, I’m sorry for the long time no update, I’m going to get started on working on this game now after a long hiatus that I took. When I initially worked on this game, it was a labor of love for dogs and pets alike combining it with a silly buddy cop type of fanfare. I had the whole outline written out and was very excited to work on it, I was usually so low energy but working on the game had spark a ton of joy and life! I had a system going and I was going to school and working on it on my spare time making load of progress.

 …Then on my last year of college, my mother died from a blood clot and it was like my life became split in two. I can clearly defined my life as before and after mom death. It was so raw that I couldn’t’ bare working on this game, suddenly this game of love that had given me so much energy was doing the opposite and starting sapping what littles strength I had left. I had to stop, I was no longer focusing, then covid came and I didn’t even have a job anymore, finding out that I did not have the energy to deal with children and I had graduated as a elementary teacher really sucks. My extended family while was supportive (gave food, paid for the funeral told us what we need to do to close her accounts) was also very close to my mom so had STRONG opinions on how we should handle things.

Dealing with them and having to go to school /and internship at a school at the same time, I hated everything and life and couldn’t muster the same positive energy that I had before and was afraid of ruining the game. I would have said something sooner but each time I tried; I would just get so overwhelmed because talking about really it stressed me out.

I’ve gotten a job even though it’s not a really high paying job, it’s less stressful and I’m starting to get back on my feet. I’ll be working on the full release of this even though no one is probably looking for this, this is just for me. I really want to finish this story and I hope anyone who is still looking at this game will enjoy it when I finish.
